I'm Lawrence James and this is my LJ Productions eclectic sounds site. No! The guy in the top right corner is not me, well - if you were to go back twenty-five years, yes, then certainly; oh the days of Italian suits, trilby hats and the best written and performed music ever to tickle an ear. My favorites are Brook Benton, Otis Redding, Ella Fitzgerald, Toni Harper, Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Sam Cooke, Jackie Wilson - oh so many that this list could go on and on. As for me, I'm most known by the name, Lazlo, or Laz. My wife and I are partners and owners of Amber Swann Publishing Inc. as well some other sites, which are all linked together. All of the material you may find in them belongs to us, created by us unless it is otherwise noted. We came together about seven years ago, simply because - the things we expressed interest in, were very much in common. It was truly surprising to her, and I - how much two people could share an interest in coming from opposite sides of the Atlantic. She's originally from America, and I'm from England. We have now made our home here in England where we unite in our office to continue in our writing ventures. I shared with her my desire to write and a dream to have someone to write with, a partner with whom I could spark ideas off of and receive feedback in return. By going to our other sites, I'm certain you will see, I've received much more than I bargained for, and believe me... there is no man more grateful than I for the magic that springs from us when we come together to spin a tale.

I would say, this has been a long time coming. I've always had a need to sing, and was told by various family members, when I was a young boy, that I could. Then, I went through a period of my younger years, where I just stopped; for various reasons; and now - at this late stage, I'm going for it - it's something I love to do; as I resumed singing once I hit my 30's, but - nothing serious, mostly to my kids. However, the time had come, that I'm going to give it a shot, my best - visit often; serious plans of presenting a few songs, until - I have a full album! See you then... |

I've always wanted to do interviews and pod-casts. You'll find them here, as I'll interview various persons, surrounding current events and things in the news, and unlike on the radio, where they fear what they say, for those over them, you won't find that hesitation here. Once more, as this is a slowly building site - return now and then to see what's new! |

As was mentioned above, yes - I am available for voice work. Studio singing voice overs, as most of my singing is in a soft, soulful barritone; and can handle anything from smooth soulful R & B, Country, Classical Rock, Easy Listening, and certainly, Polite Jazz. Willing as well to do commercial ads, because I have a dry and quick wit for humor; after all, make someone laugh, which in turn makes it hard for them to forget what they heard, where they heard it, and what it was linked to - perhaps, that should be one of your products?
